Chain Block

Chain hoists and chain blocks are two essential lifting tools that offer reliable and controlled lifting solutions for various industrial and construction applications. Chain hoists, known for their precision and versatility, utilize a chain drive mechanism to raise, lower, and maneuver heavy loads with ease. On the other hand, chain blocks are compact and robust manual hoists that provide similar lifting capabilities, often featuring a durable chain and simple operation mechanisms for use in tight spaces or confined areas. Both tools are indispensable for enhancing workplace efficiency and safety by reducing the need for manual lifting and ensuring precise control over heavy loads.

A manual hoist is a versatile and reliable lifting device that allows for the safe and controlled movement of heavy loads through manual operation, making it an essential tool in various industrial and construction settings. As a lifting equipment manufacturer, we specialize in crafting high-quality manual hoists that cater to the diverse needs of various industries. Our company, a prominent Manual Hoist manufacturer, excels in crafting robust and efficient lifting solutions tailored to the unique requirements of our clients.

How chain block works

Chain block crane is mainly composed of traction chain, chain wheel, reducer, chain pulley group, friction plate ratchet, brake seat and other components. These components work together to realise the lifting and lowering operation of heavy loads.

Traction operation: The user turns the hand sprocket by trailing the hand chain. This action further actuates the drive unit, causing the friction disc ratchet, brake seat and other components to rotate together.

Chain Drive: With the operation of the drive unit, the lifting sprocket mounted on the splined hole gear starts to rotate, which in turn drives the lifting chain. The movement of the chain is smooth and controlled, ensuring the stability of the load during lifting and lowering.

Braking mechanism: chain block cranes use ratchet friction pad type one-way brake. Under load, the pawl engages with the ratchet wheel under the action of the spring to achieve self-braking. This braking mechanism ensures that the crane can firmly hold the load when it stops operation, preventing it from accidentally slipping.

Chain block cranes are widely used in factories, mines, construction sites, wharves, docks, shipyards, warehouses and other places for installing machines, lifting goods and other operations. Especially in the open air and no power supply operating environment, as well as flammable and explosive places, the unique advantages of chain block cranes are more obvious.

The chain block achieves safe, reliable and convenient lifting and lowering operations for heavy loads through its compact structural design and efficient transmission mechanism.
